• Alert preferences and watchlist selections — your chosen assets, notification settings, and signal configuration.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Bitcoin MACD service.
• Send MACD + ADX signal notifications based on your preferences.
• Process and manage your subscription through RevenueCat.
• Analyze usage patterns to improve the service, fix bugs, and develop new features.
• Communicate with you about service updates, security alerts, and support inquiries.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the following third-party service providers, solely for the purposes of operating our service:

• Firebase — authentication and account management.
• RevenueCat — subscription billing and entitlement management.
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
• Polygon.io — market data provider. No user data is shared with Polygon.io.
• SendGrid — email delivery for alerts, digest emails, and transactional messages.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data according to the following schedule:

• Account data — retained for the duration of your active account plus 3 years after account closure.
• Alert and notification records — retained for 5 years for regulatory compliance purposes.

5. Cookies & Analytics

Bitcoin MACD uses Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-TMW4SG2QVH) to collect anonymous usage data, including page views, session duration, and general device information. This data helps us understand how the service is used and where we can improve.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in ad networks or retargeting programs.

6. Security

We use Firebase Authentication for account security, which handles encrypted credential storage and sign-in. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure — we'd rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise.

Bitcoin MACD is not directed at persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
