On the surface, this was the quietest week in a month. BTC spent all seven days pinned between roughly $64K and $67K and finished almost exactly where it started. ETH drifted up, SOL drifted down, and no daily crossover fired on any of the three.
Underneath, the summer's loudest tug-of-war. The ETF inflow streak we flagged last issue didn't survive: $465M left US spot Bitcoin funds in two days, and sentiment gauges swung back to fear.
At the same time, long-term holders pushed their holdings to a record. About 83% of all Bitcoin hasn't moved in five months. Funds selling, patient hands absorbing, both at once.
Our indicator doesn't referee that argument. It reads momentum, and momentum hasn't broken.
BTC's daily MACD has held a bullish state since July 1, up 9% since. ETH's June 29 state is up 21%, the strongest run of the three. SOL's July 12 bearish flip has cost nothing so far: it trades within a dollar of where it crossed.
